Medjool at its fresh stage, picked before it dries. Light amber, very soft and juicy, with a honey-like sweetness. Only for a short time each season, and best kept in the fridge.
As the date dries, the skin lifts away from the flesh, so it looks less perfect. Inside it is the same sweet Medjool. Smart value for cooking, processing and everyday eating.
